The organisers behind Bah Humbug! Fest, a 10-day family extravaganza taking place at Peterborough’s East of England Arena, are looking for the best dancers from across the county.
Bah Humbug! Fest is a seasonal family extravaganza with all the tinsel, sleigh bells and mistletoe removed, perfect for all those tired of Christmas overload.
Set both inside and outside the East of England Arena, the event features something for all ages with over 40 rides and inflatables, live music from Little Mix Experience, and the chance to meet the stars of PAW Patrol, PJ Masks and Peppa Pig.
John Lowery, from Bah Humbug! Fest, said:
“With Bah Humbug! Fest getting nearer we wanted to add even more fun to our event so we’ve created a new performance area.
“We’re giving dance schools, academies and groups the opportunity to show us their best moves and perform at one of our seasonal sessions.
“Not only will it be a great opportunity for them to perform live in a fantastic space, they will also be able to showcase their talents and promote themselves to visitors from across the region.
“Of course, we can’t allow routines that are in anyway Christmassy… unless they’re Scrooge or ‘Bah Humbug’ related anyway!
“The selected performers will get wristbands for free access to their session and all of the other entertainment, while their families can take advantage of reduced entry tickets.”
To apply to perform at Bah Humbug! Fest, email your details and a link to a video of your dance group in action to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Successful applicants will be contacted via email by December 1, 2018.
