Rehab Clinics Group Encourages UK to Seek Help Following Rising Client Numbers

Rehab Clinics Group has revealed that the number of clients it is helping to overcome addiction has doubled in the past 12 months.

With UK locations in Watford, Blackpool and Milton Keynes as well as a facility in Spain, the rehabilitation centres said that people needed a better understanding when it came to the symptoms of addiction and how and when to take necessary action. The organisation currently offers services to around 780 patients annually.

Director of Rehab Clinics Group John Gillen said: “Addiction, whether this is drug or alcohol related, is a major concern within the UK and affects thousands every year. Despite around 600,000 people needing treatment for alcohol dependency, studies from 2018 suggest that only around 1 in 5 people actually have access to help and we are doing all we can to see this figure improve.

“On the back of our efforts to raise national awareness of addiction as a whole, we have seen a rise in the number of people coming to our centres for professional help and we are encouraging others to reach out. Family intervention improves chance of recovery so we urge family members to look for the symptoms, which can include traits such as lying, manipulation, secrecy and short temperament.”

Rehab Clinics Group is leading the way in the supply of private residential alcohol rehab and drug rehab treatment and opened its first treatment facility in the form of Watford’s Cassiobury Court in 2011 followed by Ocean Recovery Centre in Blackpool in 2015.

John added: “Although we are seeing an increase in the number of people coming to us, we are also delighted to report that 98% of people successfully complete our rehabilitation programme once they start and to increase support we are set to open another centre in Milton Keynes in the coming months.”
